Street Side Network ManagerJob Purpose
Manages the technical relationships between our client and the IT departments of partners (e.g. exchanges, CCP's, Clearing Brokers) in order to be timely and fully informed about upcoming changes on the requirements and rules the clients systems has to comply with.
Our clients systems must always match the developments and requirements set by partners. However, it has become increasingly complex to be timely and well informed about these changes. Better and earlier information about these changes is essential for the IT department to implement changes timely to remain in control of clearing processing.
Results and Core activities
Planning & reports
Examines the exchange of information (on changes of requirements and rules for systems) between our client and the European partners. Consults with application development teams about the practice, problems and necessary improvements on information delivery by partners. Identifies the partners that cause an increased risk by late and / or incomplete information. Choose priorities and plans improvement initiatives. Creates reports for management and advises management on necessary measures.
Information partners
Creates a clear picture of the partners in Europe. Analyzes developments at partners organizations with possible impact on the information exchange between the partners and our client. Identifies key players and understands IT decision structures at partners organizations. Obtain clear and timely specifications of changes required by business partners.
Relation network
Creates access to the networks of the partners . Represents our client and creates relationships with relevant employees and convinces them of our client being an important business partner. Makes the network valuable and transferable to colleagues within our client. Records relationship data in the CMS.
Agreements with partners
Reviews the quality of information delivery through the partner and identifies possibilities to improve the information exchange processes. Makes agreements with employees at partners organizations about speeding up information exchange.
Co-operation benefits with Network Management
Recognizes when cooperation with Network Management can be effective. Ensures that Network Managers have sufficient technical knowledge to communicate with partners about changing requirements and rules for our clients systems. Make agreements on cooperation and manages the process of information exchange.
Your Expertise
- Knowledge of finance/law at a master’s level.
- Knowledge of the partners (Exchanges, CCP's, Clearing Brokers) in the region, their organizations and their IT requirements and rules for participants.
- Knowledge of the IT application development & maintenance processes and requirements.
- 5-8 year’s relevant working experience.
