We are actually looking for a Windows Engineer for Munich.
Description of work:
Infrastructure administration and second level user support for MS SharePoint, MS Project server, Jira, and other applications, java.
The client is maintaining an Infrastructure for MS SharePoint, MS Project and Lotus Domino applications for up to 6,500 internal users.
Expected tasks comprise the following:
Monitoring of the Application Server infrastructure and related resource situation;
Application of scheduled changes and maintenance tasks;
Response to user incidents arriving from the Helpdesk support via TSD;
Problem investigation and resolution;
Following the company rules and policies for incident and problem management, change managementand escalation procedures.
Skills needed:
English is the main communication language, French and/or German language skills are of advantage in communication with the users;
Very good and detailed understanding of MS SharePoint, MS Project server and IBM Lotus Domino services;
Experience in the administration of a Application Server infrastructure with thousands of users;
Experience in second line user support;
Good communication skills and ability to work in team;
Ability to work with people of different culture and in remote locations.
