Glocomms URGENTLY requires a Senior Developer/Project Manager who is fluent in English and German for a high profile project based in Germany.The Senior Developer/Project Manager specifies, designs, implements and/or tests complex software programs, modules and/or functions.
JOB DESCRITPION
- Works on projects developing efficient and effective applications in accordance with the context provided by the project manager or customer adhering to team/company standards and software best practice guidelines, and corporate policies.
- Gathers and interprets requirements from the customer, crystallize stories and acceptance criteria, and supports the technical implementation.
- Works together technical team members in a multi-site environment.
- Ensure all developments are fully documented, meet design requirements eg data, customer experience, architecture, security, quality & operations, as well as regulatory & industry standards so projects are fit for purpose leaving testing & transitioning to live.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in German and English both spoken and written
- More than 7 years of experience in Software development and end to end software development life cycle in a multi-site environment
- Experience in customer facing roles
- Experience in project delivery and execution in agile environments.
- Extensive practical experience in SW development based on, Java, JSF, JSP, JDK, Eclipse, Spring, Hibernate, Web sphere including deployment work.
- Key knowledge proven by certifications, eg SUN Certified Java Programmer
- Practical experience in SW development connecting with Host/Legacy systems and Oracle databases.
- Experience in complex Application Life cycle Management systems (SVN) and continuous integration concepts and implementation (Hudson)
- Work independently and/or within a team as the work requires. Participate in team activities and team planning with the aim of improving team skills, awareness and quality of work
- Able to travel frequently around Germany
