We are looking for a Business Analyst to work at our multinational client in Bonn/Germany.
Start: ASAP.
Our client is a multinational organisation/EN-speaking environment.
TASKS:
The Business Analyst will be required to document business processes and requirements using the standard tools provided by the client (Visual Paradigm for UML. MS Word, in some cases MS Visio).
A number of improvements to existing processes and the associated IT systems have been identified and the ITdep is in the process of gathering detailed requirements for this work.
A Business Analyst is required immediately to work primarily with users and external actors when required, to gather, analyse, document, and confirm the requirements for the identified business processes and IT systems.
Support for testing of the implemented requirements along with creation of user documentation and training materials will also be required.
Required knowledge/Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in Business Analysis focussing upon IT systems, with experience in the relevant functional area(s).
- Must have good analysis & investigation skills.
- Must have excellent experience documenting business processes and functional requirements, including using UML.
- Must be a self starter, able to manage his/her own time and dependencies effectively to deliver high quality documents according to the time frames agreed with the client and escalating issues to the responsible project manager as appropriate.
- Knowledge of LAMP platform and technologies such as Zope, Python, Oracle Application Express, their strong sides and limitations is a major asset.
- Ideally experience in the analysis of electronic document and/or content management, collaboration and Extranet requirements.
