Process Designer in Network Operations - NRW/GER
Process Designer - A Process Designer in Network Operations is needed for our client, an international telecommunications company, on a contract basis, starting ASAP.
The position will focus on supporting primarily Telecom operation processes while interfacing with other areas of the business. This person will utilize lean methodologies to improve existing processes, help enforce processes, simplify workflows, and ultimately support the Managed Service Project.
Key Responsibilities:
Interface with telecom client, procurement, BPM, quality to maximize process efficiency, speed, and accuracy.
Perform a variety of data analysis to help drive process improvements and identify areas needed to work on
Create, update, and improve existing process documentation
Utilize lean principles, including value-stream mapping to implement business improvements
Corporate OSS tools to automate department deliverables
Work directly with operation on procedures/work instructions
Participate in cross-functional teams where Operations Engineering is represented, while keeping in mind the other areas of the business
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required - BS in Business Management, Business Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Industrial Engineering Technology preferred
Knowledge and experience in eTOM, CMMI, ITIL V3 is preferred
At least 3years experience in Network Operations Center is required
Demonstrated leadership skills with proven problem solving experience and process focus, and a leader of change.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas in a convincing but in a non-argumentative manner to all levels of the organization.
Strong telecom Managed Service project experience preferred
Fluent English in written and verbal is mandatory, German skill is a plus
