We are seeking a claims manager for our client.Areas of Responsibility:
• Claims Management in Project in Augsburg or on Site
• Claim management, checking of basis for claims, preparing claim-relevant correspondence, claim negotiations
• change order management, support in compiling contracts with sub-suppliers including contract negotiations
• Contract and risk analyses
• Advising of project managers with regard to contractual issues
• Claim reporting
Qualifications:
• Fully qualified lawyer with proficiency in commercial issues or a degree in business administration or economics with law as a subsidiary or engineering qualification with experience and knowledge in contractual issues
• Excellent knowledge of the English language and French language
• Long term work experience, in project management in power plant business, engineering and construction
• Extended technical interest and understanding
• Well-developed analytical powers and capacity to think in a process-orientated manner
• Self-sufficient, diligent and structured manner of working
• Experience in dealing with technically orientated customers and suppliers
• Assertiveness and flexibility
• Capacity to work in a team together with well developed communication and conflict resolution skills
• Good level of computer literacy including data base proficiency
