Our client is SAP''s IT-infrastructure provider and is responsible for running SAP 19s backend technology including operations of state of the art data centers as well as client technology (end-user equipment) around the globe.
Within Global IT our client acts as shared services unit to all SAP Board Areas, providing SAP systems for a wide range of development, training, demo and business purposes.
A PM resource is required for managing customer infrastructure deployment projects in the new HANA Enterprise Cloud.
A project manager with some technical knowledge of data center & computing infrastructure (servers, storage, networks, etc.) is needed. In-depth knowledge is not required, the PM should have at least a basic understanding. Those with senior level Project Management experience and have run IT infrastructure projects in the past would have the required knowledge.
The PM would need to interact with the respective teams in Infrastructure Services and also colleagues in the new HANA Enterprise Cloud organization who would provide requirements and scoping for the deployments.
Experiencelevel: E3 Senior Cons/Proj.Mgr.
Required skills:
- technical knowledge of data center & computing infrastructure (servers, storage, networks, etc.)
- Knowledge of traditional Project Management approaches and methodologies such as those defined in the PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.
