German-speaking Application Developer, with strong skills in TSO/ISPF, DB 2 & Cobol II, Enterprise Cobol, currently needed by one of our Financial Clients based in Germany. We require Applications Developers with the following background: Operating Systems und Systems Software (Basic skills in OS/390, MVSStrong skills in TSO/ISPF)
Data Management (IMS DB and DB 2, sequential files), Focus on DB 2, Transaction Monitoring, basic skills in IMS DC 3270 Screens
Programming Language:
Strong skills in Cobol II, Enterprise Cobol
Basic skills in EASYTRIEVE
Other Tools:
Strong skills in JCL
Good skills in SQS (Regression Tests), REXX (Scripting Tool), Boole & Babbage (IMS DC/DB), Panvalet und TSCM (Source Code Management), BETA 92 (Job Log), CA7 (Job Scheduler)
Any experience in the following will be considered a plus:
EDB (Data Manager, MSP Dictionary)
SWT01, SWT04, SWT05 (Program, Mask and dialogue program generator)
Focus on SWT01 and SWT05
This is a long-term contract opportunity. The initial contract will be until the end of the year, with extensions to follow
