Background: My client is a leading Frankfurt based international bank; they have a number of applications running on Linux requiring harmonization and standardization and are looking for additional resources with expertise in Linux Systems Engineering.
Tasks:
Linux Distributions, mainly RedHAT;
Cluster design and build including management of Infinibandswitches;
User Authentification with LDAP;
Provisioning with RedHAT SatelliteServer or similar tools;
Building of RPM-Packages;
NFS Server with Rights Award;
User Administration;
Backup Concepts and implementation;
Work according to the supported standards of RedHAT, avoiding the use of proprietary tools of the manufacturer;
Skills
Essential: Experience with the hardware of Bladecenter environments;
Nice to have: Experience with SAMBA/CIFS Servers.
