Business Analyst(s) x2, ideally with Airport experience, on a contract basis required in Munich, details as below.
Overall Position Objective
Actively participate in the overall definition of the airport IT product definition, detailed product specifications and testing.
Understand business needs and requirements in order to specify, participate to design, test for product features, integration and functional non-regression.
Requirements:
- General knowledge of airline & airport business/IT or able to demonstrate a background as a versatile Business Analyst able to quickly familiarize him- herself with a new industry
- Knowledge of software testing methodology
- Agile software development with SCRUM
- CMMI process improvement
- UML modelling is a plus
- University degree or engineer graduation with major in aeronautics, computer science or IT
- Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
- Knowledge/willing to learn airlines, airports and partners needs and constraints

Main Position Activities
- Analyze business requirements and propose solutions to integrate them in the existing system or new systems.
- Clarify complex requirements/Elaborate functional specifications.
- Organize and implement the product testing in order to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and guarantee system integrity.
- Interface with customer during functional specification, validation and initial implementation phases as necessary.
- Interface and communicate with Product Management and Development teams.
- Interface with relevant departments to identify interaction with other Client packages and ensure functional compatibility.
- Support the airports and airports partners during their initial implementation, providing advice on the configuration of the system (set-up of the advanced parameters and business rules, monitoring and analysis of Key Performance Indicators to highlight potential issues).

Airports' IT cover multiple applications to manage flights, mix & mobile resources, public/private/mobile displays of information, and multiple other software solutions to optimize their critical activity.
You will discover the hidden face of an airport, the huge complexity to handle ground operations when thousands of persons are synchronized through complex processes, the challenges for the IT, and the key improvements we will design, in close partnership with two major European airports.
The target of the new Airport IT Development team is to design, implement and deploy Airport Operational Solutions to the segments of Airport Authorities and Ground Handlers, in collaboration with Airlines, with a first phase delivered by end 2013.
