Tasks
-Integrate Calypso application into IT environment
- Determine and implement measures for a stable operation of the Calypso application on IT environment
- Define runtime environments (e.g. define Java VM parameters)
- Setup monitoring (e.g. define monitoring tasks) oImplement measures to ensure high availability of the Calypso application (e.g. automated restart of faulted processes)
- Setup of system configuration for the IT environment (e.g. distribution of Calypso VMs)
- Documentation (e.g. operational concept)
Deploy Calypso application to IT environment
o Further development of the deployment process oDeployment and adaption of the Calypso database
o Deployment of new versions supplied by the implementation partner to the MRE environments
Testing
o Definition and execution of smoke tests. Smoke tests are used to guarantee basic functionality of new versions of the Calypso application oDefinition and execution of high availability test. High availability tests guarantee fault tolerance of the Calypso application
o Configuration of Calypso for interface tests. Calypso application Interfaces are Windows HPC, Active Directory, Bloomberg Data Licence, BizTalk Server oExecution of interface tests, especially for interfaces connected with a client specific adaption of Calypso like Active Directory or Windows HPC
o Load, Performance and Failover Tests and their impact to technical adjustments
o Documentation of tests results in HP Quality Center oFollow up error corrections using defects in HP Quality Center
Exchange of information with implementation partner
o Arrangement of deliveries supplied by the implementation partner
o Adaption of system specific changes made by the implementation partner
o Transfer of changes made by client to the implementation partner
Operational support
o Error analysis
o Interpretation of log files
o Administration and communication of downtimes
o Restoration of system availability after severe errors
