Our international operating client is currently looking for a Specialist (m/f) System Operations for a long-term project close to Nuremberg, Germany.Project Description:
* OS installation, administration and troubleshooting of Application Server including failover functionalities
* Maintenance of the environment and its components according to the client's policies, standards and procedures
* Support GIT Infrastructure internal projects
* Troubleshooting
* Application installations and GoLive support
Environment:
* Windows and Linux Server environment, Server Virtualization
* Incident and Change Management
* Backup, availability, performance and configuration of server and application
* Restore application server including application restore
Responsibilities:
* Keep the System environment up and running 24/7
* OnCall Service 24/7
* Security / Application patches
* Application Support
* Installation of new applications, versions
* Support Application troubleshooting
* Restore crashed systems / Crash Dump analysis
* Performance and capacity monitoring
* Documentation
* Inventory / Asset Management
* Liaison with Competence centres
* BEA WebLogic Webhosting
Qualifications:
* Fluency in English, written and spoken
* Experience in multiple OS Configuration and Administration
* ITIL foundation
* 4-5 years skills in OS Operations
Location: Greater Nuremberg
Duration: ASAP on a long-term basis
