Integration Design Manager
ROLE RATIONALE
Our client Global Application operates services in their data centres. The service is based on an IT solution. The Integration Design Manager (IDM) defines the details of the solution architecture. He first gets acquainted to the solution with the help of design documents from vendors or integrators and workshops. During this phase he will get an overview of the functionality but focuses on the non-functional requirements. From here the IDM starts developing a solution which fits in the data centre.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible to define the end-to-end strategy and design for the integration and operation of all Global Applications for Local Markets, Group Functions and external customers within agreed timelines & quality levels and in the most cost efficient manner.
- Support all GA Domain projects and service provision activities working closely with design, delivery, and operation entities to ensure optimum service quality and minimal operation costs.
- Accountable for end to end technical demand and requirement management (alignment, base lining, versioning, tracking) for GA domain services
- Responsible for providing technical consultancy to the GA Domains during the Demand phase, aligning with demand teams/programmes in IS Domains & business functions in topics related to technical demands, requirements, integration and solution architecture in order to efficiently manage business expectations in line with GA capabilities.
- Responsible to define the end-to-end strategy and design for the integration and operation of all Global Applications (GA domains - Enterprise Services, Global Service Enablers, Mobile Payment Services, Mobile and Data Services) for Local Markets, Group Functions and external customers within agreed timelines& quality levels and in the most cost efficient manner.
- Manage that all Integration and solution design activities follow agreed standards in all GA Domains ( including GA Online and Collaboration domains)
- Propose technical strategies and concepts to arrive at an aligned high level technical assessment as part of base lining the technical demand (during Demand phase).
- Accountable for alignment with VT-IS Security, Infrastructure Architecture/Service Delivery and Operations in order to define target architecture for integration of Global Applications into the common infrastructure.
- Responsible for managing feasibility analyses/technology assessments/commercial and technical impact analysis inside Global Application.
- Define, manage & maintain the GA Service Environment strategy, GA Integration framework (for streamlining service deployment and integration efforts), GA operational standards and non-functional requirements for GA services.

- Ensure delivery in time, quality and budget by supporting multiple business functions and domains across group getting their software integrated, deployed and operated
- Steer team towards technical innovations and service excellence in order to drive simplification and reduce costs in Global Application domain
- Ensure compliancy to internal and external guidelines, processes and policies
- Act as a technical advisor to all VT-IS stakeholders and business function management (BPM, VGE, MPS, VT-N) & IS Domains
