IMMEDIATE HIRE for a Network Engineer! This is a 12+ month contract position (option to extend) with the work able to be done remotely. However, preference will be given to candidates located in Russelsheim or Wuppertal.DUTIES:
- Gathering and documenting existing client network and device information into a workbook that will be leveraged to develop the migration plan.
- Developing new network designs in support of the transformation effort
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation of network environments.
- Respond to requests for technical information from Lead Engineers.
- Ability to support a team of network engineers and client accounts in the network transformation effort.
- Travel may be required.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in network infrastructures.
- Knowledge and experience with networking hardware to include Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.
- Expert level capabilities within the Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially Excel and Visio.
- Professional attention to detail and with sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of IP, including TCP, UDP, NATing, OSPF, and BGP.
- Knowledge of IOS stack layer 1, 2, 3.
- HS diploma or equivalent required
- Higher education required (Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical field).
