Our client is a dynamic technology business servicing many of the worlds leading automotive manufacturers. They have an urgent need on a contract basis for a Software Architect. You will be paid according to skills and experience, so whatever your expectations please apply and we can discuss. You will be expected to demonstrate why you are worth the figure you ask for obviously.
Responsibilities:
- Create concepts and architectures for innovative infotainment systems
- Capture, validate and refine the system and software requirements
- Define platforms, frameworks and concepts for infotainment systems
- Develop and communicate the software architecture and the underlying concepts
- Support, guide and coach the development team in design, development and integration activities
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Multiple years of experience in the development of Embedded Real Time systems, preferable automotive electronics and infotainment systems
- Competence in requirements engineering, software architecture, software methodology, Embedded systems, Real Time operating systems and infotainment applications
- Very good skills in the programming languages C/C++
- Hands-on experience with Real Time operating systems (QNX, OSEK, or similar) for Embedded applications
- Open and creative mind-set paired with a clear focus on customer value and solutions
- Communicative personality and active team player
- Very good English and German skills
