Exceptional opportunity for a Network Architect with Data Center experience! This is a 12 month (potential to extend) contract position and can be worked remotely from anywhere in EMEA. Qualified individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with German speaking skills highly desired. Individual must have progressive experience leading and managing large client engagements, preparing documentation and giving client presentations. This position requires the ability to participate in a team and on a project with several other team members requiring the ability to interact with and influence technical and non-technical audiences at all levels. Individual must be customer service oriented, anticipate client needs, openly solicit feedback and always looking for opportunities to improve services.RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support and administration of L2 and L3 network devices of different brands, mainly Cisco and H3C.
2. Support and administration of Firewall devices of different brands, Juniper, Fortinet and mainly Checkpoint and Cisco.
3. Support and administration of load balancer devices of different brands, mainly Cisco and F5.
4. Occasionally, physical installation of network devices in cabinet or Data Center racks.
5. Attend meetings with both customer and colleagues to find solutions, fix problems, and collect requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 5 to 8 years experience delivering complex professional services engagements with a focus on enterprise networking technology and to include Data Center experience.
2. Core networking knowledge of major vendors (Cisco/HP/Juniper/Extreme), wired and wireless networking devices.
3. Core Routing knowledge in enterprise implementations (Static/OSPF/BGP).
4. Core Switching knowledge (VLAN/Trunking/Multicast/etc).
5. Core knowledge of security hardware and software solutions to include Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint and Cisco.
6. Deep understanding of Local and Wide Area Network topologies (LAN/WAN).
7. Virtualization technologies in networking (ISCSI/SDF/DCB/10GBe/Nexus).
8. Knowledge of load balancers such as F5, Netscaler, and Cisco.
9. Must have proven experience creating architecture design documentation.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree strongly desired, but willing to consider industry experience in lieu of degree.

CCNP or CCDP or equivalent certifications highly desired
VTSP or VCP or equivalent certifications highly desired
