For our client in the measurement technique environment we are looking for an expert (m/f) in Git for transition from Clearcase to Git.
Job description
- Support transition from Clearcase to Git along with associated tool chain and processes
- Design, implement and test hooks, scripts for the Git repository, work flow in Git and for the whole tool chain including Eclipse IDE (eGit), defect tracking (Jira), code review (Crucible), continuous integration (Jenkins), administration(STASH, gitolite) and transfer of data from Clearcase to GitSkills:
- Good knowledge and experience with Git
- Experience with Eclipse IDE, eGit, Jira, Crucible, Jenkins, Hudson, gitolite, STASH
- Experience with Scripting languages eg Ruby, PHP, Shell
- Experience with large systems (5+ million lines of code)
- Operating system Linux
- Good English knowledge
- Team oriented
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical thinking
- Good in coaching
