Database Administrator (SQL Server)
Location: Germany (near Leverkusen)
Term: 12 months or PERM
Start date: early March/latest Mid March
Contract rate +/- 300 euro per day
Main Purpose of the job
- Production Support SQL Server DBA with Production Support experience covering a large support portfolio.
Technical Skills (Must Have):
- SQL 2000, SQL 2005, SQL 2008, SQL2012
- T-SQL design and development, Powershell development skills,
- Significant Production Support experience supporting a large application portfolio
- SQL Agent jobs and configuration
- High-Availability (DB-Mirroring)
- Proactive monitoring of Database performance (Performance Tuning)
- SQL Installs and upgrades (Upgrades/Patch DBMS)
- Very good German and English language skills required in terms and writing
Technical Skills (Nice to Have):
- SCOM
- Clustering
- SQL Server development experience.
- Proper Version Control
- Project leading skills
- High ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
- Provide in-depth direction related to DBMS features and to assist project teams
