Surface Treatment Engineer required at a leader in the filed of Aero Engines in southern Germany.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the development and production of surface treatment processes
* Further development of existing processes and the development and introduction of new surface treatment processes.
* Independent and responsible planning, documentation, implementation and controlling of projects in the technology and engine development programs of the company.
* Advice and support for production, development and quality assurance of development results.
* Creation and maintenance of procedures and standards, including coordination with partner specifications.
* Supporting the mass production in the optimization of the surface treatment process with the focus on cost and quality.
* Develop solutions to problems encountered manufacturing problems.
Requirements:
* Material and/or surface engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering.
* Experience desirable (preferably in the engine industry) in chemical and mechanical surface treatment processes
* Graduates (with practical experience such as in surface technology) welcome
* Experience in project management
* Ability to work in a systematic way and to evaluate complex relationships
* Ability for interdisciplinary collaboration with various departments.
* Fluent in German and English.
* Good team and communication skills, poise.
* Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP desired.
