We are looking for a System Test Engineer (m/f) for our client in the area of Stuttgart.
Aufgaben:
- Develop, execute and maintain test plans, manual and automated test procedures to ensure highest possible test coverage in the HW/SW-System Test.
- Bring visibility and management control into the system test process by providing timely and accurate escalation of problems as well as clear and concise problem reports.
- Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of different Test System HW, software and toofor various test environments.
- Continuously improve and deploy new tests in order to deliver high quality products in cooperation with HW- and SW R&D and the SW Release Management.
- Transfer of internal and external (customer- ) applications into the clients system test portfolio to enhance the test coverage. Cooperation with R&D and the end-clients application team is required to be able to adapt these applications to the HW/SW test environment.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, including ability to translate functionality into test strategies and test cases.
Skills:
Must have skills:
- Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree in Electrical Engineering Basics of ICs/electronic measurement technology
- Experience in SW System Test
- Experience in RF test
- Experience in manufacturing test
- Scripting experience
- Structured approach to problem analysis and problem solving
- Good communication skills to work in a cross-functional team
- Good knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken
Nice to have skills:
- Unix/Linux knowledge
- C/C++ knowledge
