My client is a world renound telecommunications company who are currently looking for a Programme Manager to work onsite at a large customer based in Essen, Germany. This engagement will start ASAP and will run from 6-12 months.
Programme Manager
The Programme Manager must speak business flent German and have extensive experience of Programme delivery together with the gravitas and confidence to always be credible with senior stakeholder management (internal and external).
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in planning and managing complex multi-project programmes
- The ability to manage a global team and also influence those outside his/her direct control
- The ability to get the global supplier team to deliver
- Rock solid programme Governance
- Quickly understands and gets to grips with the critical issues
- Experience with mobility/managing mobile migration desirable (in-depth knowledge not required)
- An appreciation of telecom time and expense management a plus
- Telecomms industry experience a must - service management, helpdesk, telephony, infrastructure, hardware etc...
- Calm, sensible with excellent communications skills answering questions from CXO level stakeholders with confidence
Project
- Six to twelve months with possibility of renewal
- Global project based in Germany (Essen) with some travel
- Business fluent German and English mandatory
