Senior Java J2EE Developer (m/f)
Project: To work as part of an Agile team, building a prototype HR application combining Java and PeopleSoft technologies
Skills:
- 8+ Years experience in developing Java applications with complex user interfaces, batch processes, and accessing complex Oracle databases
- must have Google Web Toolkit (GWT) experience
- Must have proven experience in SQL and PL/SQL
- Broad experience in distributed computing and related technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player, excited to work in a fast moving Agile team with opportunities to experiment to discover best way forward
- Preferably, experience working within a HR IT department
Task:
- To work as part of an Agile team, building a prototype HR application combining Java and PeopleSoft technologies
- To have advanced Java development skills and experience with one or more UI frameworks, such as SmartGWT, Sencha GXT or Vaadin
- Responsible for technical analysis, technical design, development, system testing, documentation, implementation and post implementation support
- Ability to create a technical design and develop functionality based on User Stories containing detailed user acceptance criteria
- Ability to write batch processes for bulk population processing with reasonable performance.
- Test: ability to carry out unit and peer tests. Understanding of test-driven development, test automation, regression and performance testing.
