Our client is currently looking for a Senior IT Application Engineer (m/f) for a project in Munich.Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implementation of IT solutions for customers and internal business units
• OO Analysis and Design of IT solutions
• Unit testing and documentation of IT solutions and providing of references for users and clients
• Ensuring of compatibility of IT solutions with IT standards
• Active development of internal design- and development standards, policies and of internal system architectures
• Incident Management (3rd Level Support)
• Providing of second level support to clients
• Maintenance of application performance, reliability and availability by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning; troubleshooting hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems, escalating application problems to vendor
• Development of deep understanding of the currently employed technologies, data models, application functionality and maintenance process in order to improve these processes
• Advise local developer team with best practices for enhancing application quality in terms of design development, test and release
Skills:
• Several years of software development experience (including software troubleshooting, software debugging, software documentation, software testing)
• Deep knowledge of agile development approaches, ideally SCRUM
• Strong knowledge of OO Design Patterns, EAI Patterns and SOA
• Several years of experience in software requirements engineering (working with and writing of user stories and use cases)
• Deep Knowledge of German Telekom Market, TKG and Market Regulatories (BNetzA), especially regarding usage and management of geographical numbers
• Deep Knowledge of German PDA Approach and ESAA / WITA Interface to German Incumbent
• Deep Knowledge of interfaces provided by BNetzA
Technical Skills:
• Several years working knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite 11g, BPEL and Oracle Service BUS 11g
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Databases, Oracle Weblogic Server
• Strong working knowledge of JEE and Java. Working knowledge of Webservices, JMS and JPA
• Working knowledge of development tools SoapUI, Maven, Ecplise, JUnit and in at least one script language (e.g. Perl)
• Strong working knowledge in database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL)
• Knowledge of Linux based operating systems
Duration: 01.01.2013 for approx. 6 month (Option for extension given)
