We are searching for a freelance (Senior) Consultant: WebShere Application Server support (m/f).Description:
Provide expertise and consultancy for server-side support of a world-wide intranet platform (named GIP/ONE). Your team provides support for the company applications and their underlying infrastructure (web servers, middleware, off-the-shelf applications)
Required Skills:
* Experience IBM WebSphere Portal (Prio 1), IBM Lotus Connections (Prio 2) and some practice on setting and tuning Lotus QuickR or Omnifind applications (Prio 3)
o Performance tuning and optimization
o Capacity management
o Monitoring and reporting
o Automation
* participating to a project aiming at Integrating IBM Websphere Portal and IBM Lotus Connections
* Red Hat 5 and 6 Linux
* Deep knowledge of complex web application (mult-tier, load balancing, high availability, authentication, encryption)
* Infrastructure (network, database, VM Ware)
* ITIL base organisation
* Project management style for handling activities and planning (including follow-up and reporting)
* Excellent English skills (main contact in the US)
* Senior communication skill (person works as a bridge between client and provider)
* Possibility for working in sync with US time is a great asset (eg. 1 pm. until 8pm CET)
* Some limited traveling possible (to US)
* Excellent knowledge of English mandatory
* Either French and/or Dutch
