For one of our clients we are looking for a Network Consultant/Engineer - German speakingTask Description:For a global telecommunication company we are looking for an experienced Network Consultant/Engineer in the greater area of Düsseldorf. The aim of the project is to design an internationally accessible IP network within the company's existing network.In addition to the logical and physical network design, current network configurations with regard to routing, switching and security aspects have to be analyzed. To enable an international access to this network and meet the customers demand, suggestions for improvement on the identified hardware, configuration, policies and protocols used have to be provided. Moreover, an integration concept for multiple operational applications including a secure Identity & Access Management on the basis of an existing SSO and Active Directory has to be developed. The design flexible and scalable in terms of access and hosting of applications. Interior and exterior routing concepts have to be future proven and possible to integrate in the existing network. Security Policies and the corresponding configuration have to be designed and verified that access is possible with a good performance.Main Tasks:Support of the Design Team with the following:
- Conduct client interviews for As-Is' Assessment
- Analyze findings from As-Is' Assessment with a focus on IP Address Management, Routing configuration, protocols, Firewall rules
- Designing of a logical/physical IP sub network
- Designing a new IP Address Management Concept including IP Services
- Designing of interior & exterior routing concepts
- Analysis of the Identity & Access Management principles & protocols
- Designing of Security Policies and corresponding Firewall configurations
- Designing of Application Hosting ArchitectureRequired skills: - +5 Years of Experience in Designing Enterprise IP Networks
- Experience in designing routing/switching concepts (eg MPLS, VPLS, OSPF, BGP)
- Experience in designing Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
- Experience in creating logical/physical network designs & concepts
- Experience in analysing Firewall rulesets and corresponding protocols
- Experience in designing Security Policies and Firewall rules on diversified hardware
- Fluency in German language requiredNice to have Skills:- Telecommunication Provider experience
- Strong Communication skills
- Vendor certifications (one or more of the following):
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIELocation: Greater area of Düsseldorf
