Skills:Solid knowledge of BO version 5.1.8 incl. ZABO and Supervisor, DeskI and WebI; solid knowledge of BO XI v3.1.
· Familiar with installation and setup of a BOXI r3.1 environment.
· OS (UNIX, LINUX, Windows) knowledge
· Solid knowledge in the maintenance of a complex Business Objects UNIVERSE
· Solid knowledge of SQL and Oracle
· Familiar with creation and maintenance of Views and SQL-optimization
· Familiar with Business Objects security setup and configuration
· Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
· Strong team player
· Good communication skills
Nice-To-Have: VBA scripting experience; BO upgrade experience from Version 5 to XI 3.1
Aufgaben:
The customer migrates the existing BO environment from BO 5.1.8 to BOXI 3.1.
The consultant should support this technical migration. In addition should the consultant design and implement new reports, implement enhancements in existing reports and support the installation (the data source for the reporting is Peoplesoft HR - no SAP environment).
· User support for all business objects reports Install and configure BOXI r3.1 environment on new infrastructure
· Provide guidance to the internal porting center team responsible for the migration of the existing reports to BOXI r3.1
· Implementation of BOXI and decommissioning of old BO environment.
· Development of new reports
· Responsible for the support and maintenance of the existing Business Objects installation in Europe for HR Reporting
· Tuning and enhancements of existing reports
· Maintenance of the Universe
