For our customer in Munich we are looking for a
Storage Administrator (f/m)
Project start: asap
Duration: 12 months +
Location: Munich
Your skills:
Work as part of a team including Storage Engineers and line management and provide Managed Storage ServicesAct as a contact point in relation to delivery of a pre-defined Storage Administration Service on the customers siteParticipate in an on-call rota or shift system providing customer care on a 24 x 7 basis (shift system: every 6 to 8 weeks)Manage the allocation and administration of the storage infrastructure as requested by line managementProvide full service reporting information to HDS and customer as requestedAddress all other Managed Storage Service delivery issues as directed by line managementImplement 'best practice' file systems managementEnsure storage allocation in line with Service Level Agreements, software certification and IT Service Continuity ManagementReact and respond to day-to-day problems and changes as they relate to Storage Administration, including but not limited to: Disk space, data backup & recovery , disaster recovery and backup logsResponsible for actioning Change uests received for all Storage administration/allocationAlert and resolve any data performance issues, and interface with Customer's IT departmentEnsure that data is available to all applicationsDevelop/interface with comprehensive Project Plans as necessary, determining and achieving realistic completion datesPerform any host-level tasks as requested to access new storageAssist in the Restoring and Recovery of data as requestedMaintain a working knowledge of the Disaster Recovery Plans, and provide support in the event of an invocation or testInterface with assigned storage engineers to manage the implementation of all additional storage infrastructure and storage servicesParticipate in regular Customer meetings as required, and act as an integral part of the Customer's IT Team
Your profile:
Experience as storage administrator or similarExperience in storage platform supportFluency in German and English
