Responsiblities
Development of DSP software
Design and development of physical layer algorithms for LTE and other 3GPP standards
Taking an active role in system level integration and problem resolution
Qualifications and Experience
Experience of the development of Digital Signal Processing algorithms in mobile receivers and design for Embedded Real Time systems
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
Matlab algorithm design
Embedded C/C++ programming
A good understanding of wireless receiver algorithms
Real Time Software Engineering principles
Understanding of mobile communications hardware environments and constraints
Familiarity with software development tools (IDE compilers, debuggers, target trace)
Knowledge of Software Engineering methodologies (Specification, Design, Coding, Test)
Highly Desirable
An understanding of vector processing techniques for accelerating DSP algorithms
An understanding of LTE OFDM and MIMO processing techniques
Experience of platform integration in bringing products to market
Interest in computing and communications technologies
