TECHNICAL CONSULTANT - VMWARE - PLATESPIN RECON/MIGRATE - VCP/CPSA - UK & MUNICH
Woodrow Mercer Associates LLP is urgently seeking to secure the services of a team experienced and professional Technical Consultants to fill urgent contract vacancies in a number of European locations. Initially based in Munich you will be required to cover multiple locations across our clients Pan-European area although some Global travel may also be required.
Our client is a leading IT Consultancy that assists Global Outsourcing and Managed Service Organisations to Corporate and Government authorities.
Candidates will have a proven track record of Virtualisation and Server Consolidation coupled with the VMWare/VCP and Platespin/CPSA Qualifications ie VMware VCP 3/4/5, VTSP, VSP, Capacity Planner, PlateSpin CPSA (Migrate/Protect/Recon/Forge ), Infrastructure, vSphere, ESX+ESXi, vCenter, Workstation, View (VDI), ThinApp plus high level exposure to the Microsoft ideal.
You will be required to Investigate and Performance Test the end clients existing Server Farms and be tasked with the Planning, Upgrading, Implementation and Consolidation of Servers into Virtualised environments in which to derive and optimise future IT Infrastructure requirements.
This role is a Team Focussed, Customer facing role, with a critical service delivery implications. Successful applicants will be highly motivated and possess a can/will do work ethic.
Contract durations are expected to be from 3 months to 18 Months + All Travel & Accommodation Expenses will be paid for/booked in advance.
