SAP Basis Consultant urgently required for a Greenfield SAP implementation project with an end-client of mine. You will be responsible for setting up the IT infrastructure for the target IT environment and organize the structure of the operation of IT systems.
Your Qualifications:-
- Good knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Portal and PI
- Template/international roll-out experience (must-have)
- Good knowledge of SAP customizing
- ABAP know-how
- Knowledge of systems analysis and software development
- Team player with high intrinsic motivation, goal-and result-oriented
- The ability to communicate, implement and support a team for a common goal.
Your tasks: -
- Strong experience in large SAP Basis Support Landscapes (eg over 20 + Productive landscapes)
- Must have strong expertise in SAP Supporting multiple products (ABAP and Java stack) - R/3, ECC, Portal, BW, BOBJ, SRM, SCM/APO, XI/PI, Unix (HPUX)/Oracle for SAP
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager for basic activities
- SAP Performance Analysis and Tuning
- Capacity Planning
- SAP installation (ABAP and Java), Kernel patches and support packs (ABAP and Java), and Enhancement Pack Upgrade
- System Copy/Refresh System
- Client Copy and Client Administration
- SAP Transport Management and Change Request
- SAP Security Support (User Role Administration), single sign-on
- Oracle Database administration experience (for SAP)
- SAP implementation and version upgrade experience (nice to have)
- Support the development and adaptation of roles based on a template and the central staff in co-ordinating the roll-out:-
- User system
- Preparation of business roles and mapping
- Role assignments
- Implementation of functional gaps in the roles of (proprietary)
- Definition of approval process
- Preparation of the transport rollers
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Development of co-ordination in complex international SAP projects
- Strong focus on SAP standards
- Advising the management and the departments of technical and conceptual issues
- Project presentations to relevant bodies
Languages: fluent German and English, spoken and written (must-have)
