We require an experienced SharePoint Project Manager with SCRUM/Prince 2 knowledge to work on-site, in a large technical project environment for a multinational organisation based in Bonn, Germany for at least three months, starting ASAP.

We are framework contractor of a multinational organisation in Bonn/Germany. This English speaking organisation is very much open to international candidates, ideally with EU Passports or a valid work permit for Germany.

BACKGROUND

Because of the incremental growth of the current IT - core system and a multitude of various functional changes introduced on the system over a long time, a number of sizable deficiencies regarding the comprehensiveness of the technical architecture, user interface design, data integrity and cross-cutting business rules, speed of implementation of changes and high support effort relative to development effort have become evident. Given the high load on the system and the growing number of users and data volumes (the website is currently serving about 500,000 user sessions with 5,000,000 hits each month), the design issues of the current system result also in operational issues relating to availability, performance, and stability.

The system includes the following functional components: workflow and document management, records management, web content management, customer relationship management, business intelligence, B2B integration, security management.

The concept will now be implemented in several phases and subprojects over a period of approx. 1,5 years.

The methodology we are using in the development teams is Scrum Agile.

For every process we initiate a design phase and an implementation phase.

We are looking for a Project Manager, a kind of an "Implementation Manager" who is picking up the designed functionalities and implement them.

TASKS and activities

Under the supervision of the Programme Manager the incumbent will perform the following activities:

Manage the implementation of subsystems

o Plan the implementation in collaboration with the Team Lead

o Make an implementation plan

o Make a migration plan for the data

o Make a migration plan for the processes (what to do with work in progress)

o Make the training documentation

o Bring the systems in an operational environment (together with the solution architect)

o Do data cleansing

o Train the users

o Migrate (automatically) the data

DELIVERABLES

The incumbent is expected to produce the following deliverables:

a) Project Initiation Documentation as per PRINCE2

b) Project Reports as per PRINCE2

c) Project Closure Report

d) Presentation of project plans, progress reports, risks and issues to IT management

e) Working functionalities in the operational environment

f) Implemented processes

PROFILE OF THE CONSULTANT

- University degree - master in computer science/software engineering, MBA or equivalent

- 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing and leading IT projects.

- Knowledge of Scrum Agile

- Knowledge about PRINCE2

- Excellent planning skills, knowledge of MS Project

- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint

- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Systems, preferably MS Dynamics

- Knowledge of Workflow Systems, preferably K2

- Knowledge of requirements elaborations techniques;

- Excellent communication skills in English
