Our client is a leading international mobile communications business currently looking for an experienced Product Manager Mobile Wallet.
Project Outline
The Product Manager Mobile Wallet will take responsibility for the development and life cycle of one of the most important, strategic assets: The mobile wallet application. The mobile wallet application is the key component for NFC and mCommerce services, providing the services and functionality in a convenient, easy to use and secure way. The mobile wallet is the central point of the whole mCommerce proposition for that reason the most critical success factor. For the wallet application he/she will define the detailed product concepts including use cases and marketing requirements. She/he will make sure that input from relevant stakeholder is included in the concept and that technical feasibility is checked with Group Technology. She/he creates roadmaps for the application and drive development projects for releases/versions of the wallet application. In addition to this she/he will feed in requirements for handset and SIM development.
As the mobile wallet will be developed in a multi-project environment, the product manager needs to be able to act appropriately on programme management level in complex multi-national, multi-services projects. It is expected that he/she is able to understand the services strategy in order to derive requirements for the mobile wallet application.
Deliverables:
Prepare/drive and manage review & baselining process for the following project deliverables:
- Updates to product concept
- Language Files
- Help & customer support content
- Definition of terms & conditions
- Wireframes and UI design
- UI prototype
- Definition of a generic payment template app for third parties
- Start of definition of subsequent phase version of the wallet
- Deal with daily PM business regarding wallet application
Skills:
Product management experience (delivery of sophisticated mobile apps and services)
Creation of product specifications
Substantial knowledge on the mobile industry but also on adjacent wallet industries like payments.
Ideally NFC/mCommerce experience
