System Verification Engineer - Germany - System Verification EngineerDescription
. Planning, specification and execution of system tests
* Test execution of GSM/GPRS/EGPRS/UMTS/HSPA+/LTE protocol stack conformance tests (GCF/PTCRB) or feature tests
* Failure analysis using terminal equipment traces, simulator logs and debugging tools
* Verification of error corrections
* Specification, implementation and execution of test cases in eg TTCN2/3, Anite SAS, Anritsu RTD tools and environments
* Management of testing in external test houses or customer labs, which includes definition of test list, providing all required HW/SW and debug tools.
* Driving test execution to be finished in time and report results to the organization
* Follow up of bug fixing and retest.
Qualifications
. University/University of applied sciences/University of cooperative education: Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology required
* Main focus on Telecommunication Engineering desired
* Work experience of minimum 3 years
* Professional experience in the area of development, integration or verification of mobile terminal equipment or infrastructure is desired
Required technical skills.
You should have solid skills in at least three of the following areas:
* Air interface protocols of mobile communication standards GSM/GPRS/EGPRS/UMTS/HSPA+/LTE
* Commercial protocol test systems, eg R&S CRTU-G, CRTU-W, CMW-500, Anite SAT/9000, Anritsu , COMPRION, Agilent 8960...
* Integration and verification of Embedded systems
* Programming languages (eg TTCN-2/-3, C/C++, Python, Perl, Tcl, Expect)
* SW test methodology and concepts, test automation
* Realtime operating systems, debugging tools (eg Lauterbach)
* Configuration management tools (eg ClearCase, ClearQuest)
* Inter Operability Testing
* Genuine team work ability
