Our client is looking for an experienced (2+ years) CS/PS Core Test Engineers in Dusseldorf (Germany). An ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and conduct acceptance tests in the laboratory environment in the mobile network test and integration centre of the vendor Network Services GmbH in Dusseldorf.
To include your areas of responsibility inter alia:
- Personal responsibility for preparation, implementation and documentation of the acceptance tests for software, hardware, services, and configuration data in the laboratory environment for the "Circuit Switched Core Network/Signalling Network"
- Coordination of planning and testing process with the client
- Coordination of resources required and the test procedure within the Test and Integration Centre with all departments involved
- Create test reports and all the operating systems required documentation of the publication attributable
- Conduct a detailed error analysis for laboratory and real network error including the testing of clients or technology vendor provided solution
- Ensure the operation of the publication attributable systems in the laboratory environment
Qualifications
Professional/Personal Requirement:
- completed technical training in communications engineering (studies not absolutely necessary)
- sound knowledge of systems architecture and functionality of a mobile network
- In-depth practical experience in the "Packet Switched Core Network"/"Circuit Switched Core Network/SGSN and GGSN" (ideally with the systems of the manufacturer NSN/ZTE)
- Ideally, experience in the planning and execution of acceptance tests
- Basic knowledge of the structure of IP Networks (and, ideally, VoIP) is required
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
- High degree of initiative and teamwork
- experience in dealing with internal and external customers
very good English and basic knowledge of German
