Our client is a specialist in the development of Diesel Engines for a number of applications including construction equipment, power stations, military vehicles, naval and commercial vessels and rail vehicles. They are looking for a software engineer with experience of the V model to support a variety of projects.
Your tasks and duties
Development of Embedded software for automation equipment
Creation of software requirements specifications
Design of software subsystems
Application of standards for functional safety in the software development process (eg IEC 13849, IEC 61508)
Implementation of the software subsystems
Integration of software modules with hardware systems
Verification of software requirements specifications and systems
Your qualifications should be
University degree in electrical engineering or computer science with a focus on software engineering
Extensive experience in software development.
Experience in modelling with UML and Object Oriented methods
Experience in the programming languages C and C + +
communication skills in English, German speaking would be beneficial but not essential.
Must be able to work in a team.
