We are looking for SW Development Engineer/Embedded DSP Engineer (m/f) for our telecommunication client in Nuremberg with the below requested skills and for the following tasks:
Tasks
- Design and implementation of 3G physical layer software functions in C/C++ on a DSP in an Embedded environment
- Creation of software architecture, interface and design documents
- Optimization of firmware algorithms for reduced memory consumption and processor load
- Integration of software in Embedded systems environment, verification and test on target
- Analysis and resolution of software issues/firmware problems
- Maintenance during product life cycle
Skills
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent qualification, with at least two years of professional experience
- Experience with Embedded-Software-Design and/or DSP firmware development
- Preferably practical experience with, and knowledge of 3G Layer 1 standards and algorithms
- Preferably knowledge on Digital Signal Processing in wireless communication systems
The start will be ASAP and with the option for a permanent employment at the end-client after some time. The contractual base will be a project-related employment at Harvey Nash.
