Aufgabe/Skill:

Professional Scope / The role encomprises the following key accountabilities:
Driving the continued development of our Infrastructure Architecture as it relates to Server and Storage Domain contributing to the overall Infrastructure framework and support ongoing projects in their design – Drive the development of the IS Architectural Framework – Collect and provide architectural (functional/nonfunctional) requirements – Develop standard building blocks describing architectural elements – Contribute to the IS architecture and technology plan – Design Review and approval of server and storage components in all IS projects under execution. In this context: – Review and approval of project gate documentation defining scope / budget and aligning with technology plan – Review standard configurations of hardware and software and alignment strategy – Review and approve related service requests and change controls which impact server and storage towers and budget and ensure adherence to strategy – Own and drive CASRA audit management action plans – Contribute to the IS architecture and technology plan

Professional Requirements

- Strong experience of server and storage architecture and design – Server: Unix, Windows, Virtualisation – Storage SAN, NAS Shared and Dedicated Storage Platforms – Cluster solutions – Network integration (LAN/WAN) – Fundamental understanding of IT processes and operational procedures. – Proven ability to lead complex architectures/designs (documentation, review, improvements) – Capability to simplify complexities for stakeholder communication and managing for impact – Track record to work in an outsourced environment and perform through 3rd parties and suppliers – Knowledge of storage strategy a distinct advantage – Knowledge of database consolidation and virtualization a distinct advantage – 10+ years’ experience in a relevant IT field – Ability to adapt to an international dynamic working environment – Business-fluent English (written and spoken) is absolutely necessary – Proof of experience in international projects – Open to frequent international travel according to business requirements
