For one of our clients we are currently looking for a:
Contract Engineer (m/f)
Responsibilities
• Advising the project manager and other project staff in the handling of subcontractors and consortium agreements to secure our rights and contractual claims
• Securing of evidence and documentation of contract variations and other claim-related events
• Coordination of project participants as part of the claim management
• Checking contract for substation and array cable
• Supporting negotiations (technical and commercial)
• Checking the offers for the substation technically and support Legal and Procurement
• Checking and commenting the individual documents for the substation
• Creating a deviation list
• Leading change request list
• Preparation of contract work trainings
• Supporting technical expertise for auxiliaries on the offshore substation
• Supporting electrical package manager
Qualifications
• Successfully completed university degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or civil engineering, but also industrial engineering or business law
• Very good knowledge of contract and claims management as well as project and risk management
• Excellent English and German language skills
• Many years of experience in project / Investment business
