Task:The role is for a database developer-analyst with an excellent knowledge of Oracle and data warehouse.
Team and role activities include:
- Database design and development: ETL procedures, Oracle scheduling
- Oracle performance tuning
- Unix scripting
- Provide level 3 specialist support for Cosmos system
- Advising on application architecture, capacity management and procedures (DB sizing and monitoring)
- Performing impact analysis, testing, User Acceptance Testing and documentation
- Work closely with Business Management, other IT projects, and Finance to support change management initiatives for new products, business streams, markets and environmental changes
Technologies used are:
- Database / ETL: Oracle 11g
- Reporting: Business Objects ; Panorama NovaView
- OLAP (MS Analysis Services)
- Microsoft IIS, MS .Net, C#, MS Visual Studio
Requirements (Must have):
- Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Software Engineering
- Minimum 5 years work experience as an Oracle developer in a data warehouse environment
- Experience with Oracle 11 g
- Experience with MS Office: Access, Excel, VBA
- Experience in banking/financial industry (desirable)
- Fluent English is a must, German - beneficial
