My Client is looking for a Support Engineer for their Location in NRW (West Germany)

Responsibilities:

This task includes Deployment and support of many enablers for various subsidiaries. These services are provided by the national companies both Embedded as well as externally used (ie on different websites). The activities range from initial installation and integration over the maintenance of automatic monitoring, the daily support, troubleshooting and installation of updates to the decommissioning of individual services and Application Support/Application.

Qualifications:
- Projects as a Support Engineer
- Fluent English
- Experience in 2nd level support
- Knowledge of (performance) tuning
- Experienced in dealing with ticketing systems (good sense of priorities and SLA's)
Skills/Experience:
Experience with Java application Servers
- UNIX skills - Good understanding of network communications via TCP/IP and the associated analysis tools (eg snoop, tcpdump, ethereal)
- Knowledge of Open SSO
- Experience in administration of the Apache Web server (2.xx)
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Basic knowledge of Scripting languages (Bash, Perl)
- Basic knowledge of Java
- Advantage: Charging/Rating knowledge -
- An advantage Knowledge of OpenSSO and LDAP
- Advantage: SOA (Tibco) knowledge
- Advantage: Experience in debugging of Java applications
