ViewPoint is a comprehensive data management system for private clinics and hospitals. It provides reporting and image archiving functionality for diagnostic ultrasound in Women's Health and Radiology as well as for imaging diagnostics in Endoscopy. Our client has released a new ViewPoint 6.2 and for new customers new functionality will be added to the ViewPoint product.
The Engineer will be required to functionally test the new product and on occassions check the command line for abnormalities.
Tasks
* Ensure the quality and relaibility of the new version of the product in the areas of reporting and image management by executing software tests on Windows.
* document problems in problem tracking systems and verify problem solutions.
* Review product documentation for correctness and completeness.
* Communicate and cooperate within a internationally distributed development team.
Skills
Working with Windows operating systems
Working with Office applications
Query databases via SQL queries
Executing of software tests accoring the predefined processes
Planning Software tests
Experience in working with Medical Database Software is advantageous
