QUEST is looking for candidate (m/f) for the following assignment/job:


On behalf of our customer, QUEST, as preferred supplier, has been assigned with the research for a qualified consultant (m/f) for the following assignment/job/project:

*Project Info*

Our client, a system house, is currently preparing an offer for an invitation to tender. The fixed-term employment contract, 12 months, will be closed between you and our customers and will be extended by a further 12 months.

*Important*
  • University degree (BSc) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science
  • Very good command of English with proven drafting ability
  • additional to English, another European language (level B2) is mandatory
  • Relevant work experience 3 - 7 years
  • knowledge in User and Identity Management
*Tasks and Responsibilities*
  • Provide 1st and 2nd-level support for operational security activities including restoring normal service from incidents as quickly as possible and identifying any need for remedial or preventive maintenance throughout the use of diagnostic tools associated with User and Identify Management (user accounts administration) in platforms such as Windows, UNIX, RSA Security ACE Server, SAP and other proprietary environments
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve security-related problems using available tools and referring to external suppliers if required
  • Dispatch calls to the appropriate resolving group when resolution at the operational security area is not possible and well as ensure timely escalation of calls and appropriate information contained in escalated calls
  • Contribution to assess and propose efficiency/effectiveness gains in the current Operational Security processes
  • Review operational and technical security requirements in Operational Security Acceptance
  • Contribution to design of procedures for identifying any need for preventive or remedial maintenance throughout the use of diagnostic tools
  • Contribution to maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation related to security systems/components including operational requirement and release management plan, transfer knowledge to colleagues and ensure sufficient documentation is available for tasks to be assigned to 1st and 2nd-level support staff.
  • Contribution to plans, preparation and document maintenance activities (such as patches and software upgrades) which are required to keep system running at optimised security condition.
  • Participate in the design and preparation of recovery and contingency exercises to ensure that Data Centre Operations can recover systems in accordance with the predefined plans and documentation

*Knowledge and skills*

  • Knowledge of IT security processes, features, issues and solutions associated with Windows-and UNIX-based operating systems (eg Microsoft Server, Solaris and Linux)
  • Knowledge and experience in Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
  • Knowledge and experience in security administration tools such as Identity Manager and LDAP
  • Ability to research security topics and produce briefing notes (technical and nontechnical)
  • Good knowledge and experience in developing security processes (Scripting, monitoring and reporting).
  • Experience in drafting technical documentation such as IT policies, procedures and standards.
  • High customer-orientation and awareness for IT Security.

  • University degree (BSc) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science;
  • Security related certifications is an advantage
