Senior Embedded Software Engineer - PHY, LTE - Contract
A leading name in field of mobile handset development is currently recruiting for an experienced Embedded software development engineer to work at the forefront of next generation wireless mobile technology on an initial 6 month contract.
You will be responsible for Physical layer software development for LTE
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of LTE physical layer control software in C and C++ for ARM processors for mobile platforms
- Definition and description of physical layer software architecture and software modelling
- Simulation and verification of algorithms
- Integration and debugging of software on a virtual platform and target hardware
Essential Skills
- Experience with physical layer software development for Embedded systems, RF hardware and/or DSP
- Knowledge of UMTS/LTE or WLAN standards in the physical layer and future developments with 3GPP, MIMO
- Experience in performance efficient coding in C/C++ on Embedded systems
- Familiar with the usage of CM and error tracking tools (eg Clearcase, ClearQuest)
