Desktop Support Engineer - EPOS, Windows XP, Active Directory, printers, LAN and WAN, Wireless
My client, a UK based organisation, has an extremely unique opportunity for a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to work on site in Germany.
The Desktop Support Engineer must have strong previous experience of working without supervision as they will be solely responsible for the organisation's infrastructure assets in Germany.
The successful Desktop Support Engineer must be well versed with EPOS, preferably Wincor Nixdorf equipment although other EPOS experience will be considered and have a strong understanding of Microsoft Server. The role will also involve supporting XP machines, hardware replacements and identifying LAN and WAN and wireless issues - either providing on site fixes or escalating to vendors or the UK support team.
Later the role will involve building and installing equipment, rolling out chip and pin, project support, managing back up tapes and user administration.
