MSDB - SQL 2005 DBA - Windows SRV 2003 - OLAP - C# - Q&R/MIS - Crystal Reports - Business Objects - Cognos - Naghios

Austin Fraser are working with one of their top clients based in Düsseldorf. This is a really exciting opportunity for a DBA/System Administrator to work on a 6 month contract with the option to extend.

Project:

Join the existing team within working on a customers Money Transfer project.

Responsibilities:

- Database administration of business critical production application
- Define database key performance indicators to include in performance measurement and capacity management tools.
- Assist with testing support Maintenance
- Regular optimisation analysis of database
-Support adhoc reporting and open support requests from business customers

Skills:

- MSDB qualification
- Demonstrable experience of SQL 2005 DBA
- Experience of working with finance systems
- Experience of working with Windows SRV 2003
- able to work in an agile developing environment
- Readiness for planned work outside of business hours on a scheduled basis
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- 'hands-on' approach

Desirable Skills

-A basic understanding and some experience of mobile telecom systems and/or banking software products
- OLAP, C# and web development skills - some experience of working with Q&R/MIS packages, eg Crystal Reports, BusinessObjects, Cognos
- Experience with operational monitoring tools like Naghios
