Our client is a world leading mobile telecommunications provider, currently looking for an experienced Deployment & Support Specialist. The main responsibilities on this position will involve:
Configuring Jboss and apache
Monitoring Jboss performance
Creating scripts in shell/perl
Restarting failed services
Communicating with frontline/helpdesk/monitoring teams
Providing statistics/reports for product owners
Required Experience/Skills
Jboss Application Server 5,6 and 7
Apache Webserver
Amazon Cloud Services
Oracle - basic knowledge required (using sqlplus, running queries)
Cacti and Nagios Monitoring
Basic Solaris administration
Negotiation with clients and vendors
Good understanding how to represent data like KPI´s and performance data
