This position is for a consultant with experience in Configuration and Change Management and Document Management in a formalised ISO 9000 certified environment.
Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space. The consultant will be part of their general services division who ensure the smooth running of the headquarters building and its related facilities.
Experience of the following is required:
- Configuration and Change Management and Document Management in a formalised ISO 9000 certified environment
- Applying state-of-art configuration and document management standards, methods and tools
- Knowledge of information technology or system engineering life cycle and deliverables
- Facilities Management involving electrical and mechanical installations in a 24/7 operational environment
- Good knowledge of MS Office is desirable as is general knowledge of SAP, Open Text eDOCS and Oracle UCM.
- Writing clear and concise documents in English
Fluency in English is essential and a working knowledge of French desirable. This is a freelance contract assignment due to start in March/April 2012 for a period of 1 year with two extension options of 2 years each.
