Data architect/Data modeller to work on materials classification project based in Hamburg, GermanyThis is in regard to a GREENFIELD data model creation around materials, parts explosions (BOM), MDM style classifications and support for the business processes driven off of them.
The ideal candidate would be an extremely experienced Datamodelling consultant who has seen all the above before and is able to bring to bear experience from other projects, preferably with several differing material models from which the best for the task at hand can be selected. We expect, though the candidate would confirm this, that self referential tables would be involved that descend flexibly to "N" levels in which case knowledge and experience of typical tree editors for such models would also be useful.
The consultancy also needs someone who works in their style which is business results and "fit for purpose" driven rather than dry, theoretical and academic. A bit of vision and practicality is needed here rather than just tinkering and creating papers, which makes it both an interesting job and also quite challenging and senior in nature.
