We are looking for one of our clients, an international finance institute in Frankfurt, for a Software Engineer/Tester C openVMS (f/m)Tasks/Responsibilities:
Application development in the Central Securities Depository area. Implementation, review and testing of software modules based on problem ticket analysis or functional specification document(s).
Optional:
Requirements analysis, support of functional specifications.
Qualifications/Required Skills:
Good analytical skills to understand functional requirements. Good communications skills and a good command of English are a must. Knowledge of programming language C. Experience of software development and deployment in large projects. In General of Advantage is: Knowledge of Central Securities Depository or of Clearing and Settlement processing, Experience in reviewing Functional Specifications and translating them into Software Design
Experience of software development in C-OpenVMS-Oracle RDB, Architecture, Knowledge in XML, FIXML, Java, Shell/Script-Programming (eg PERL)
Assignment starting with a contract until end of 2011 with an option of extension,
