This position is for a Cisco network consultant with a minimum of 3 years experience performing administration and maintenance of network equipment in an operational computing environment.
Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellites with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The consultant will be part of their Information and Communication Technologies support team and will have the following:
Cisco Certification CCNA
Experience of network infrastructure based on Cisco components
Knowledge and experience of WLAN Infrastructure
Experience of Cisco Works
Experience of HP Openview Network Node Manager
Knowledge of PRTG
Experience of network cabling infrastructure
Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall and VPN
Fluency in English is essential and a working knowledge of French desirable. This is a freelance contract assignment due to start in January 2012 for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years and a second option to extend for 1 more year.
